On Oct.27, commencement activities of major projects in the fourth quarter were held in Wuhan city. Qingshan district (the chemical district) sub-venue was held in the phase I of the ‘Village in the City’ reconstruction and housing construction demonstration zone for the ecological green development of the North Lake of the Yangtze River, which is contracted by HICC.
Su Nibin, secretary of the Qingshan District Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Chemical Industry Zone, Liu Yitang, deputy secretary of the District Committee and District Governor of the District Government, Liu Guanghui, chairman of HICC, and Hu Dan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of HICC, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Hu Dan made a statement.
He said that the phase I of Xinji rebuild housing project is an important part of the Beihu Ecological New City. HICC will gather best teams, keep on improving construction, catch up the progress of the project, complete the construction tasks with high quality, and promote the construction of the Yangtze River forest with high standards, strive to build the Qingshan Yangtze River Forest Project in the Beihu Ecological Green Demonstration Zone, and build the Beihu Ecological New City into a demonstration area integrating industry and city and a ‘bridgehead’ integrating Qingshan District and Yangtze River New City, and promote the industrial transformation and ecological upgrading of Qingshan District to meet the needs of the Qingshan people.
At the end of the event, Su Nibin announced the start of the project.
The phase I of the reconstruction of the ‘Village in the City’ in the Yangtze River North Lake Ecological Green Development Demonstration Zone Xinji Rebuilt Housing Project is located in Xinji Village, Qingshan District (Chemical District), adjacent to Jiaosha Second Road in the east, Fourth Ring Road in the west, and both south and north. The total land for planning roads is about 139 mu, the total land area of the project plot is about 92,700 square meters, the total construction area is 464,100 square meters, and the total number of residential households is 2,965. Among them, the with-capacity building area is 324,400 square meters, covering residential buildings, kindergartens, public toilets, sanitation workers restrooms, garbage collection stations, resource recycling stations, fire control rooms, opening and closing stations, and non-motor vehicle sheds; the non-capacity building area is 139,715 ㎡ which consists of basement buildings, overhead buildings, and refuge floors. The total construction period is about 36 months, and the contract amount is about 1.8 billion RMB.
