Rushing to Join the Fight against NCP, HICC Built a Cabin Hospital Converted from Wuhan Exhibition Hall

In the early morning of February 4, HICC received an urgent task to build a cabin hospital in Wuhan Exhibition Hall.

 

 

 “Cabin hospital” has been widely used various emergency treatments as one of medical system of the People’s Liberation Army. It generally consists of medical function unit, ward unit, technical support unit, etc., referring to a modular sanitary equipment with emergency treatment, surgical treatment, clinical testing and other functions.

 

 “Cabin hospital" in Wuhan Exhibition Hall is major to treat patients with mild pneumonia infected by the new coronavirus. HICC is responsible for the layout of beds in areas A and C and supporting facilities.

 

 

 

 

In the early morning of the 4th, we temporarily transferred personnel from Installation Engineering company, HIETC, General Contractor company, Design Institute, and Installation Department to bring and transfer water and electricity supplies and tools to the construction site. Mr. Sun He, deputy chief engineer introduced that the hydropower transformation of the warehouse has been completed, and the washing room, shower room, mobile toilet, and centralized sewage treatment facilities have also been installed through uninterrupted construction. After the reconstruction task of Area A is over, the participants are transferred to Area C to assist the construction.

 

 

 

Time is tight and tasks are heavy. All the employees in the group have overcome great difficulties. After receiving the task, the leaders of HICC immediately get into coordination and make sure the task completed on time with high quality.

 

 

Mr. Liu Guanghui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of HICC, and Mr. Hu Dan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of HICC, went to the construction site to guide the work and visited and consoled frontline employees.

Installation Division sent 50 employees to complete the “Huoshenshan hospital” mission. In the case of short shortage of construction materials, they contacted multiple parties and went to the manufacturer to purchase materials to ensure the construction overnight.

 

 

To ensure the project delivered on time, the Design Institute selected 7 technical backbones with rich experience guiding and operating on-site finishing, laying and positioning, installing cable trunking, wiring, installing sockets, test power, and delivery to accelerate the process;
